Air India Express Flight IX-812 was a passenger airplane flight. It was flying from Dubai International Airport to Mangalore International Airport in India. On May 22, 2010, the plane had an accident when it landed. The time of the crash was 5:30 AM local time.

What Happened?

The airplane was landing at Mangalore International Airport. It went too far past the end of the runway. The plane then crashed into a valley. Sadly, 158 people out of 166 on board did not survive. Eight people survived the accident.
