Akihiro Ienaga (家長 昭博, Ienaga Akihiro), born on June 13, 1986, is a Japanese football player. He is a talented winger who currently plays for Kawasaki Frontale. He has also played for the Japanese national team.

Akihiro Ienaga's Club Journey

Akihiro Ienaga started his football journey in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. He joined Gamba Osaka, a top club in Japan's J1 League, as a young player. He worked hard and became part of the main team in 2004. The very next year, he helped Gamba Osaka win their first-ever J1 League title!

Playing for Different Teams

After his time at Gamba Osaka, Ienaga played for several other teams. In 2007, he went to Oita Trinita on loan. Later, in 2010, he moved to Spain to play for RCD Mallorca. This was a big step, as he was playing in one of Europe's top leagues. He even scored his first goal for Mallorca in April 2011.

He also played for Ulsan Hyundai in South Korea for a short time. Then, he returned to Japan, playing for his old club Gamba Osaka again, and later for Omiya Ardija.

Success with Kawasaki Frontale

Since 2017, Akihiro Ienaga has been a key player for Kawasaki Frontale. He has helped them win many important titles. With Kawasaki Frontale, he has won the J1 League multiple times, showing his important role in the team's success. He is known for his skill and ability to create chances for his teammates.

Youth National Teams

In June 2005, he was chosen to play for the Japan U-20 national team. He played in all four matches at the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship, showing his talent on a global stage. He also played for the Japan U-23 team.

Ienaga made his first appearance for the senior Japan national team in March 2007. He came on as a substitute in a match where Japan won 2–0 against Peru.
