Akihiro Ienaga (born on June 13, 1986) is a Japanese professional football player. He plays as a winger for Kawasaki Frontale. He also played for the Japan national team.

Akihiro Ienaga's Club Journey

Akihiro Ienaga started his football career in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. He joined Gamba Osaka as a young player. Gamba Osaka is one of the top clubs in Japan's J1 League.

Early Career at Gamba Osaka

Ienaga joined Gamba Osaka's main team in 2004. He helped the club win their first J1 League title in 2005. This was a big achievement for the team.

Playing for Other Japanese Clubs

In 2007, Ienaga went to Oita Trinita on a loan. A loan means he played for them for a season. Later, in 2010, he joined Cerezo Osaka. He played well for both these teams.

Adventures in Europe and Asia

In December 2010, Ienaga signed a five-year deal with Mallorca. This club plays in Spain's top league. He scored his first goal for Mallorca in April 2011. He also played on loan for Ulsan Hyundai in South Korea. After that, he returned to Gamba Osaka for another loan spell.

Time at Omiya Ardija

From 2014 to 2016, Ienaga played for Omiya Ardija. He was a key player for them during this time. He scored many goals and helped the team.
