Akinori Mikami (三上 明紀, born June 12, 1969) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means he was usually trying to score goals for his team.
Akinori Mikami's Football Journey
Akinori Mikami was born in Yaizu, Japan, on June 12, 1969. After finishing high school, he joined a football club called Mitsubishi Motors in 1988. This club later became very famous as Urawa Reds.
Mikami played for Urawa Reds from 1988 until he retired at the end of the 1994 season. Even though he was mainly a forward, he sometimes played as a left-side defender. He played a total of 27 league matches and scored 1 goal during his time with the club.
