What's the Story About?
The story is all about a talented 17-year-old girl named Catalina Andrade. She goes to a fancy school in the city. Catalina comes from a regular family. She thinks she's at the school because she got a scholarship. But she doesn't know that her grandfather, Matias Duque, paid for her schooling before he passed away.
A Family Secret
Catalina also didn't know that her old music teacher and protector, Don Matias, was actually her grandfather. Catalina's mother, who was a teacher, had a relationship with Fernando Duque. Fernando was Matias's son and James's father. But Fernando never said that Catalina was his daughter.
A Mysterious Accident and New Love
Matias died in an accident that seemed a bit strange. At his funeral, Catalina meets Santiago, who is also Matias's grandson. She really likes him right away!
Brenda, who is James's mother, might have been involved in Matias's accident. She wanted to take control of the school. She also wanted to make sure her son, James, stayed at the school instead of going back to Paris. To do this, Brenda made James become a music teacher at the school. Daniela Tovar, who used to be James's girlfriend, tried to help Brenda.
But then Santiago arrives at the school. This brings him and Catalina together again. Their feelings for each other grow even stronger. Catalina and her classmate, Lina Ruiz, become rivals. They both want Santiago's attention and love.
