Alair de Souza Camargo Júnior, known simply as Alair, is a Brazilian football player. He was born on January 27, 1982. Alair played as a defender for various clubs, mostly in Japan. His last known club was Ehime FC in the J2 League.

Alair's Football Journey
Alair started his football career in Brazil. He played for a youth team called PSTC from 1998 to 2000. This helped him prepare for professional football.
Playing in Japan
Alair moved to Japan to play for Shimizu S-Pulse in 2001. He was with them until 2002. After that, he joined Ventforet Kofu in 2002. He played many games for Ventforet Kofu until 2006. During his time there, he scored a few goals as a defender.
In 2006, Ventforet Kofu played in the top Japanese league, the J1 League. Alair was part of that team.
Other Clubs and Return to Japan
After his first time in Japan, Alair played for other clubs. In 2007, he played for Veranópolis in Brazil. He also had a short time with Birmingham City in 2008. Later that year, he played for Chapecoense in Brazil.
Alair returned to Japan in 2009 to play for Ehime FC. He stayed with them until 2010. He then moved to Kyoto Sanga FC in 2011. In 2012, he came back to Ehime FC for another two seasons, playing until 2013.

Alair played a total of 217 league games in his career. He scored 11 goals during these matches. Most of his professional career was spent playing in Japan's J1 and J2 leagues. He was a reliable defender for the teams he played for.
