Alam Shah facts for kids
Alam Shah was the fourth and final ruler of the Sayyid dynasty, an important kingdom in India. He became the leader after his father, Muhammad Shah. During his time, the kingdom was quite small, stretching mainly from Delhi to a nearby area called Palam.
Who Was Alam Shah?
Alam Shah was not considered a strong ruler. He found it difficult to manage the kingdom and its challenges. Because of this, he decided to leave his position as king.
What Happened to the Kingdom?
In 1448, Alam Shah left the capital city and moved to a place called Budaun. After he left, it took three years for a new leader to take control. In 1451, Bahlul Lodi took over the capital, marking the end of the Sayyid dynasty.
