Alan Halsall was born on August 11, 1982. He is an English actor. He is most famous for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the TV show Coronation Street. He has been on the show since 1998.

Alan Halsall has been on Coronation Street since November 1998. Before that, he was in other TV shows. Some of these shows include Children's Ward and Heartbeat. He also appeared in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates and Queer As Folk. He was also in a four-part series called Matt's Million on CITV.
In 2013, Alan won an award for his acting. He received the Outstanding Serial Drama Performance award. This was for his role on Coronation Street at the National Television Awards.
In November 2024, Alan was a contestant on a TV show. It was the twenty-fourth series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!. He was the seventh person to leave the show. He finished in sixth place.

Alan's Personal Life
Alan Halsall was married to actress Lucy-Jo Hudson. She also used to be on Coronation Street. They met while working on the show. They started dating in 2005. They got married on June 13, 2009, in Cheshire.
In 2013, they announced they were going to have a baby. Their daughter, Sienna-Rae, was born on September 8, 2013. Alan and Lucy-Jo later separated.
On November 10, 2023, Coronation Street announced something about Alan. He would take a short break from the show. This was because he needed surgery on his knee. Alan is also a vegetarian.
