Alan L. Isaacman (pronounced EYE-zək-mən; born July 12, 1942) is an American lawyer. He is well-known for his work representing publishers and media companies. He has also worked with famous people like journalists and entertainers. Alan Isaacman lives in Beverly Hills, California.
Education and Early Career
Alan Isaacman studied at Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1964. He then went on to Harvard Law School and received his law degree (called a J.D.) in 1967.
In 1968, he became a licensed lawyer in California. He also worked as a Law Clerk for a U.S. District Judge named Harry Pregerson from 1969 to 1970. This job helped him learn a lot about how courts work.
