Alan Mahon (born 3 March 1951) is a retired Irish judge. He served as a judge in two important courts. From 2002 to 2014, he was a judge in the Circuit Court. Later, from 2014 to 2018, he became a judge in the higher Court of Appeal.

Alan Mahon was born on 3 March 1951. His hometown is Tullamore in County Offaly, Ireland.
School and University
He went to Clongowes Wood College for his schooling. After that, he studied at University College Dublin. He also attended King's Inns. This is a special place where people train to become barristers.
Becoming a Lawyer
In 1976, Alan Mahon became a barrister. This means he could represent people in court. He then became a senior barrister in 1988. This is a higher rank for experienced lawyers.
