Albert Davis was an American baseball pitcher. He played in the Negro leagues, which were important baseball leagues for African American players.

Albert Davis was a talented pitcher. He played baseball during a time when African American players were not allowed to play in Major League Baseball. Because of this, they formed their own professional leagues, known as the Negro leagues.
Playing for the Detroit Stars
Albert Davis spent most of his career with the Detroit Stars. He first joined the team in 1927. He played with them for several seasons, until 1931. Later, in 1937, he returned to play for the Detroit Stars again.
A Brief Stop with the Baltimore Black Sox
In 1931, Albert Davis also played for another team. He had a short time with the Baltimore Black Sox. This was during the same year he was playing for the Detroit Stars.
