Alberto Urroz began his formal music studies at the Madrid Royal Conservatory. There, he learned to play the piano from a well-known teacher named Joaquín Soriano. After his time in Madrid, Alberto traveled to Israel. He continued his piano studies with Pnina Salzman at Tel Aviv University.
Later, Alberto received a special scholarship from Navarre, his home region in Spain. This scholarship allowed him to move to New York City to study with another famous piano teacher, Oxana Yablonskaya.
