Aldine is a peaceful place with a few houses and farms. It's found in the southern part of New Jersey. This community is located right where two important local roads meet: County Route 611 and County Route 635.

One of the main landmarks in Aldine is the Aldine United Methodist Church. This church was built a long time ago, in 1868. Over the years, it has been updated and renovated many times. Even though the church has an Elmer mailing address, it is actually located right in the heart of the Aldine section of Alloway Township.
How Did Aldine Get Its Name?
The name "Aldine" wasn't always what this community was called. Before about 1869, it was known by a different name: Nazareth. It was also sometimes called Watson's Corner. The name Aldine was officially given to the community when a post office was first opened there.
