Alex's Football Journey
In the summer of 2001, Alex joined a Japanese football club called Ventforet Kofu. This team played in the J2 League, which is Japan's second-highest professional football division. Ventforet Kofu had finished in last place for two years in a row before Alex joined.
Alex made his first appearance in the J2 League on July 7, 2001, playing against Montedio Yamagata. After his debut, he quickly became a regular player for Ventforet Kofu. He played in many matches as a key midfielder for the team.
During his time with Ventforet Kofu in 2001, Alex played in 26 league games and scored 3 goals. Even with his efforts, Ventforet Kofu finished in last place for the third year in a row. Alex left the club at the end of the 2001 season.
