Starting at Northampton Town

Alex Konstantinou began his football career in the youth team at Northampton Town. He was known for scoring goals regularly. In February 2010, he was given a spot in the main squad.

Later, for the 2010–11 season, Alex and two other young players, Paul Walker and Michael Jacobs, signed their first professional contracts. Alex made his first professional appearance in a League Cup game on August 24, 2010. He even helped set up a goal in the final moments of the game!

In October 2011, Alex played one match for Woburn F.C. He also had trials with other clubs like Walsall and King's Lynn Town FC.

Playing for Apollon Limassol
