Early Life and Artistic Journey
Alfredo Bigatti was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1898. He loved art from a young age. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires. After he finished his studies, he even taught art there!
From 1924 to 1928, Bigatti traveled around Europe. He visited many countries to learn more about art. In Paris, France, he studied with a famous sculptor named Antoine Bourdelle. This time helped him become a better artist.

One of Alfredo Bigatti's most important artworks is the National Flag Memorial. This huge monument is located in Rosario, Santa Fe, a city in Argentina.

Personal Life
In 1936, Alfredo Bigatti married Raquel Forner. She was also a very talented artist, known for her Expressionist paintings.
