College Basketball Journey
Alfredo Ott grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. He played college basketball at Dillard University from 2001 to 2005.
During his time there, he helped his team, the Bleu Devils, achieve great things. They made it to the NAIA National Tournament in 2002. The next year, in 2003, they reached the "Sweet Sixteen" round. This is a big achievement in college sports. Alfredo is one of the few players from Dillard University who went on to play basketball professionally.
Professional Basketball Career
Alfredo Ott started his professional career after college. He played for teams in both England and Spain.
Early Career in England and Spain
In the 2006–2007 season, Alfredo was the top scorer for the Worthing Thunder in England. This means he scored more points than anyone else on his team.
Then, he moved to Spain. In the 2007–2008 season, he was the top scorer for HNV-Consmetal Navarra. He was also the very first player signed by this team for the 2008–2009 season.
Winning Titles and Moving Up
In the 2009–2010 season, Alfredo helped CB Clavijo reach the playoff semifinals. This was an exciting time for the team.
The next season, 2010–2011, was even better. Playing again for CB Clavijo, Alfredo helped them win the LEB Plata League title. They became champions of their division.
In the summer of 2011, he signed with Lan Mobel ISB.
Playing in Top Spanish Leagues
In 2012, Alfredo joined Palencia Baloncesto. This was a big step because he started playing in the LEB Oro league. This is Spain's second-highest basketball division.
In 2013, he returned to CB Clavijo. This time, he played for them in the LEB Oro league. He has continued to play for various teams in Spain's top leagues, showing his skill and dedication to the sport.
