A Village with a Special Plan
Algallarín is not just any village. It was carefully designed to be a "model village." A famous architect named Carlos Arniches planned its layout. He was a modernist architect. This means he liked new and simple designs.
How Algallarín Was Built
The idea for Algallarín came about in the 1950s. A special group called the Instituto Nacional de Colonización helped build it. This group worked to create new farming communities. They wanted to help people live and work in rural areas. Algallarín was one of their important projects.
