Ali-Ollie Woodson was born on September 12, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up in a town called Town Creek, Alabama.
Woodson became well-known as the lead singer for Motown's famous group, the Temptations. He sang with them from 1984 to 1986, and then again from 1988 to 1996. His first time recording with The Temptations was in 1983. He sang the lead vocals on a song called "Stop the World Right Here (I Wanna Get Off)" for their album Back to Basics.
Later Years and Passing
Ali-Ollie Woodson faced some health challenges later in his life. He passed away in Los Angeles, California, on May 30, 2010, after an illness. He was 58 years old.
