Ali's Football Journey
Starting with Malavan
Ali Abedi began his football journey playing for the youth teams of a club called Malavan. This means he started playing for their younger age groups to learn and develop his skills.
In the summer of 2014, when he was 19 years old, Ali was moved up to the club's main team. This happened under the coach Nosrat Irandoost. Being "promoted to the first team" means he was now ready to play with the adult professional players.
First Game for Malavan
Ali Abedi played his very first professional game for Malavan in the 2014–15 Iran Pro League season. This first game is called a "debut." He came into the game as a "substitute" against Sepahan. A substitute is a player who comes off the bench to replace another player during a match.
Playing for Other Clubs
After his time with Malavan, Ali Abedi also played for Shahin Bandar Anzali from 2016 to 2017. He then returned to Malavan for another period, playing there from 2017 to 2019. Since 2019, he has been playing for Shahrdari Bandar Anzali.
