Alicia Lemke (born February 3, 1987 – died August 9, 2015) was an American singer. She was also known by her stage name, Alice Lake, and for her music project, Alice and the Glass Lake.
About Alicia Lemke
Alicia Lemke was born in Madison, Wisconsin. Her mother's name was Gale Lemke. Alicia went to Shorewood Hills Elementary School and Blessed Sacrament School. She also attended West High School.
Her Music Career
Alicia Lemke was a talented singer. She started her music career in 2009. In 2013, she had a big chance to open for the famous band Fleetwood Mac. That same year, she also performed at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee. This is a very popular music festival.
Later, in 2017, her voice was featured on a song by the famous rapper Eminem. The song was called Revival (Interlude) and was on his album Revival. The vocals used in this song were from an unreleased track that Alicia had sent to Eminem in 2012.
Her Illness and Passing
In December 2013, while Alicia was on vacation in France, she became very ill. Doctors found out she had a rare type of leukemia. Leukemia is a serious disease that affects the blood and bone marrow.
Sadly, Alicia Lemke passed away on August 9, 2015, because of leukemia. She was only 28 years old.
