Fleetwood Mac is a very famous rock band that started in London, England, in 1967. It's a mix of British and American musicians. The group was first created by Peter Green. The original members included Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Jeremy Spencer, and Bob Brunning.
In 1968, an 18-year-old guitarist and singer named Danny Kirwan joined the band. Later, Peter Green left the group. In 1971, Christine and John McVie (who was already a member) along with Bob Welch became part of the band. When Bob Welch left, two Americans, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, joined the group. This new lineup helped the band become super famous, especially after they released their album Fleetwood Mac.
In 2018, Lindsey Buckingham left the band. He was replaced by Mike Campbell, who used to play with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and Neil Finn from the bands Split Enz and Crowded House.
