Alisha Wainwright was born on July 14, 1989. She grew up in Orlando, Florida, in the United States. Her mother is from Jamaica, and her father is from Haiti.
Her Acting Journey
Alisha started her acting career in 2008. She first appeared in a funny online video for the YouTube channel Smosh in 2012. After that, she got guest roles in popular TV shows. These included Criminal Minds and Lethal Weapon.
In 2016, Alisha joined the cast of Shadowhunters. This fantasy show is based on The Mortal Instruments books. She played Maia Roberts, a werewolf character. She became a main cast member in the third season.
Later, Alisha took on a big role in the Netflix series Raising Dion. In this show, she played Nicole Warren, a single mom raising a son with superpowers. This role made her very well-known.
