All Hallows Episcopal Church, also known as All Hallows, Snow Hill, is a very old church located in Snow Hill, Maryland. Its construction began in 1748. This church is special because it was funded by the Maryland Colonial Assembly. They used a tax on tobacco to pay for the building.
The church was finished in 1756. It was built in a very fancy way for its time and place. All Hallows Parish is one of the original 30 Anglican parishes in the Province of Maryland. These were some of the very first churches in the Maryland colony.
All Hallows Episcopal Church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. This means it is recognized as an important historical site in the United States.
Today, it is still an active church. It is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Easton.
