Allen Stephen Covert (born October 13, 1964) is an American comedian, actor, writer, and producer. He is well-known for his acting roles in many comedy movies, especially those made with his friend Adam Sandler. Allen Covert starred in the 2006 movie Grandma's Boy. He also had important parts in films like Happy Gilmore (1996), The Wedding Singer (1998), and Big Daddy (1999).

Allen Covert was born in West Palm Beach, Florida. He studied theater at New York University. This is where he met Adam Sandler, who would become a close friend and frequent work partner.

Allen Covert's first movie role was a small part in Adam Sandler's 1989 film Going Overboard. He then had minor roles in other Sandler movies, like playing Otto the homeless caddy in Happy Gilmore.
His first bigger role was in the 1998 movie The Wedding Singer, where he acted alongside Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Covert continued to appear in many of Sandler's films. For example, he gained 40 pounds for his role in Little Nicky.
