Alvin Ceccoli was born on August 5, 1974. He is an Australian footballer who played as a left back. He played for three major Australian clubs: Sydney FC, Central Coast Mariners, and Adelaide United. Alvin also represented his country, Australia, in international matches.

Playing for Clubs
Alvin Ceccoli started his professional football journey in 1995. He began his career in the National Soccer League (NSL) with Wollongong Wolves. He played many games for them, showing his skills as a defender.
Early Career and Championships
Alvin played 156 matches for Wollongong Wolves. During this time, he had a short loan period in Greece with AEK Athens FC. He helped Wollongong win two NSL Championships in a row, in 1998/99 and 1999/2000. After his time with Wollongong, he joined Parramatta Power.
Moving to the A-League
When the NSL ended, Alvin was one of the first players to join the new A-League. He signed with Sydney FC. His first season with Sydney FC was very successful. He became one of the best defenders in the league. His great performance even earned him a chance to play for the Australian national team again.
However, in his second season with Sydney FC, Alvin had some disagreements with the new coach. This led him to look for a new team.
Playing Overseas and Later Career
Alvin then moved to Japan to play for Avispa Fukuoka in the J2 League. He spent about a year there before returning to Australia.
In 2008, he signed with Central Coast Mariners FC for a short period. Soon after, he joined Adelaide United for their AFC Champions League games. However, he decided to leave Adelaide United to be closer to his family in Wollongong.
Alvin continued to play local football in the Illawarra Premier League. He played for clubs like Dandaloo FC and Kemblawarra Fury. In 2015, he was recognized as one of the best players in Sydney FC's first ten years.
Retirement and Coaching
Alvin led Corrimal Rangers FC to win the Grand Final in 2019. After this success, he decided to retire from playing due to injuries. He is highly respected in the Illawarra area for his contributions to local football. Today, Alvin works as an Assistant Coach at Corrimal Rangers. He focuses on helping young players develop their skills.

Alvin Ceccoli also had the honor of playing for the Australian national team. He played 6 matches for Australia and scored 1 goal.
