How Amada Acres Started
Amada Acres was officially recognized as a separate community in the 2010 U.S. Census. Before this, it was part of a larger area called the La Casita-Garciasville CDP. In 2010, the La Casita-Garciasville CDP was divided into nine smaller CDPs, and Amada Acres was one of them. The other new CDPs included Chaparrito, La Casita, Loma Linda East, Manuel Garcia, Manuel Garcia II, Olivia Lopez de Gutierrez, Ramirez-Perez, and Victoria Vera.
