La Casita-Garciasville first appeared as a CDP in the 1990 census. Before the 2010 census, this community was divided into several smaller new communities. These new places included Amada Acres, Chaparrito, La Casita, Loma Linda East, Manuel Garcia, Manuel Garcia II, Olivia Lopez de Gutierrez, Ramirez-Perez, and Victoria Vera.
