Early Life and Education
Amanda Adams went to the University of California, Berkeley, in the late 1990s. There, she studied anthropology, which is the study of human societies and cultures. She earned a special award called the Kroeber prize when she finished her degree.
After that, she continued her studies in archaeology. She earned a master's degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. For her master's degree, she wrote a special paper called a thesis. Her thesis was titled Visions Cast on Stone. Parts of her research were later published in a journal called The Midden.
