Amber Brianna Lawrence-Bullock (born April 11, 1986), known as Amber Bullock, is an American gospel singer and musician. She became famous after winning the gospel singing competition, Sunday Best, on BET. Her music career officially began in 2011. She has released successful music that has appeared on various Billboard music charts.

Amber Bullock's Early Life and Journey
Amber Bullock was born on April 11, 1986, in St. Louis, Missouri. Before she became a well-known singer, she lived in Dallas, Texas. Later, her family moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, because of her mother's job.
While in New Orleans, Amber faced some tough times. She worked at a call center. After a car accident, she had to move in with a friend. She made the difficult decision to send her young daughter to live with her father for a while. When she got the chance to be on Sunday Best, she felt it was a big opportunity. She thought, "I had nothing to lose and everything to gain." In 2011, she graduated from Oakwood University.
Amber Bullock's Music Career Highlights
Amber Bullock's music journey really took off when she joined the gospel singing TV show Sunday Best. This show is on the BET network. She competed in the fourth season and won the entire competition!
Winning Sunday Best led to a record deal with Music World Gospel. Soon after her win, on November 29, 2011, she released an extended play (EP) called Thank You. An EP is like a mini-album with fewer songs. This EP was very popular. It reached No. 1 on the Top Gospel Albums chart. It also appeared on the main Billboard 200 chart at No. 145. Music critics gave it good reviews.
After her successful EP, Amber released her first full studio album, So in Love, on July 10, 2012. This album also did very well. It reached No. 3 on the Top Gospel Albums chart. Reviewers praised the album for its soulful melodies and Amber's amazing voice.
Amber Bullock's Personal Life
Today, Amber Bullock lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with her daughter. She attends Fresh Anointing church. The pastor there, Michael Lampkin, was also a contestant on Sunday Best in a later season.
