Ameer Kenneth Webb (born March 19, 1991) is an American sprinter. He is known for running very fast in short races, especially the 100-meter and 200-meter events.

Ameer's College Journey

Ameer Webb was a top athlete during his college years. He went to Texas A&M University. There, he became a champion in the 200-meter race. He won at both the indoor and outdoor NCAA Division I Championships in 2013.

Before Texas A&M, Ameer ran for Cerritos College. He was also a state champion there. In 2011, he won both the 100-meter and 200-meter races. He started his running career at Tustin High School. He was good at both track and field and football in high school.

Becoming a Professional Sprinter

Ameer Webb became a professional runner in 2013. He quickly started competing in big international events.

In 2016, he won the 200-meter race at the Qatar Athletic Super Grand Prix. He set a new record for that event with a time of 19.85 seconds. This was one of the fastest times ever for the 200-meter race.

Ameer also competed in the 2016 Olympic Games. He made it to the semi-finals in the 200-meter event. In 2017, he won the 200-meter race at the 2017 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. This win helped him qualify for the 2017 World Championships in Athletics.
