One of her most famous roles was playing Lucrecia Rivas in the TV series The Mafia Dolls. She also starred in the 2007 Telemundo show Madre Luna, which means "Mother Moon". In Madre Luna, she acted alongside Gabriel Porras.
Amparo Grisales also appeared in a music video for a Peruvian song called "La Flor de la Canela". She was in the video with the famous singer Plácido Domingo. This song was part of his album De Mi Alma Latina.
