Mega Ampharos
Starting with the Pokemon X and Y games, Ampharos gained a special new form called Mega Ampharos.
- To become Mega Ampharos, an Ampharos needs to hold a special item called Ampharosite.
- When it mega evolves, Mega Ampharos changes its type! It becomes an Electric and Dragon-type Pokemon.
- Mega Ampharos also gets much stronger, especially its Special Attack power. However, it does become a little bit slower.
