Amy Hunter, born on May 6, 1966, is an American actress and model. She has acted in many TV shows and daytime soap operas. She also co-hosted a show called Night After Night on The Comedy Channel. She reported for ESPN's Women in Sports show.
Amy Hunter was a special guest host on the famous TV show Soul Train. This is where she met Tony Cornelius, whose father, Don Cornelius, created the show. Amy and Tony had a daughter named Christina Marie. They later divorced.
Amy has also performed in plays. She played the main character, Maria, in West Side Story. She was also Beneathea in A Raisin in the Sun. Another role was the green-eyed sister in Words of Women.
Before acting, Amy worked as a model for twelve years. This job took her to New York City and many places across Europe. She also appeared in commercials for brands like Miller, Chevrolet, and Reebok.
