An Táin is an exciting graphic novel written in the Irish language. It was published in 2006 by a company called Cló Mhaigh Eo. This book was created by Colmán Ó Raghallaigh, who wrote the story, and Barry Reynolds, who drew the amazing pictures.
The story in An Táin is based on a very old and famous Irish tale. This ancient story is called Táin Bó Cúailnge, which means "the cattle-raid of Cooley." In 2006, An Táin won a special award. It was named the Irish Language Book of the Year for Young People by Oireachtas na Gaeilge.
Later, in 2008, Cló Mhaigh Eo released another book. It was called Deirdre agus Mic Uisnigh, which means "Deirdre and the sons of Uisnech." This book tells a story that happened before the events in An Táin.
