Her Education and Early Work
Ana went to the University of Santiago de Compostela. There, she earned a degree in Ancient History and Art History. Later, she continued her studies and received her doctorate in history from the University of A Coruña. A doctorate is a very high degree you can get at a university.
In the 1980s, Ana worked as an archaeologist. She helped dig up and study the ancient site known as the Castro de Borneiro. This is an old settlement from the Iron Age.
Teaching and Directing
Today, Ana Romero Masiá is the director of the Institute of Monte B. Moas. This is a secondary school in A Coruña. She also teaches Geography and History there.
