Anastasia Qarwani facts for kids

Anastasia Maher Qarwani is a Palestinian illustrator and children’s story author. She graduated from the Arab American University with a BA in English and Translation. She has worked at the University's Language Center while studying for her MA in Literature and Intercultural Communication. She has published numerous works in drawing and writing, such as "Rehan and Jinnat al-Ghayyoum", which won the 2012 Al-Awda Award, the only prize awarded in the field of children's literature in Palestine. In 2018, her book, "Koozy", won the Etisalat Award for Arabic Children’s Literature in the production category.
