What Happens in the Story?
Anatole is a very happy mouse who lives in Paris, France. He has a super important job! He is the Vice-President in charge of Cheese Tasting at Duvall’s cheese factory.
Anatole works only at night, in secret. The people who own the factory have no idea that a mouse is their best cheese taster! Because of this, M’sieu Duvall, the factory owner, decides to bring his pet cat to the factory.
Now, Anatole faces a big problem! He needs to protect his secret job and stay safe from the cat. Anatole must do something no mouse has ever done before. He has to find a way to put a bell on the cat. Will he succeed in this brave mission? You'll have to read the book to find out!
