Anatoli Yevgenyevich Kozhemyakin (Russian: Анатолий Евгеньевич Кожемякин, February 24, 1953 – October 13, 1974) was a talented Soviet football player. He was known for being a strong striker, scoring goals for his teams. Sadly, his life was cut short at a young age due to a tragic accident.

Anatoli Kozhemyakin: A Rising Football Star
Anatoli Kozhemyakin was born in Moscow, which was then part of the Soviet Union. He started playing football at a young age and quickly showed great skill. He became a professional player, known for his ability to score goals.
Playing for Dynamo Moscow
Anatoli began his football career at FC Lokomotiv Moscow. Later, he joined FC Dynamo Moscow, one of the biggest football clubs in the Soviet Union. As a striker, his main job was to score goals, and he was very good at it.
In 1973, Anatoli helped FC Dynamo Moscow achieve a great result. His team won the bronze medal in the Soviet Top League, which was the top football league in the Soviet Union. He was also one of the best goal scorers in the league that year.
Playing for His Country
Anatoli Kozhemyakin also played for the Soviet Union national team. He made his first appearance for his country in 1972 when he was just 19 years old. This was in a friendly match against Bulgaria.
He also played in a very important game: a qualifier for the 1974 FIFA World Cup against Chile. However, the Soviet team decided not to play the return game against Chile. This was a protest against the government in Chile at that time.
A Tragic End
Anatoli Kozhemyakin's promising career ended too soon. He passed away in 1974 at the age of 21. His death was due to a very unusual accident involving an elevator.
