Ancient Moirang facts for kids
"Ancient Moirang," also known as "Keke Moirang," was an old civilization. It grew in the southern plains of what is now Manipur, India. Its capital city was Keke Kangla. The stories, literature, and myths of this kingdom are all part of something called Moirang Kangleirol.

The main leader of Moirang was called the Iwang Puriklai. This ruler had complete power over the kingdom. To manage things well, the kingdom was split into eight parts. These parts were called leikais, like wards or sectors.

There were also nine organized market places for trade. Various special offices, called Phamnaiba Loishangs, helped run the kingdom smoothly. These offices were held by scholars. They also made sure the Thangjing Haraoba festival was done correctly.
