André Dussollier started his acting journey in the early 1970s. One of his first big roles was in the 1972 film A Gorgeous Girl Like Me, directed by François Truffaut. He also worked with director Éric Rohmer in films like Perceval le Gallois (1978) and Le Beau Mariage (1982).
In 1985, he starred in the popular comedy Three Men and a Cradle. This movie was a big hit and helped him become even more recognized. He played the character of Jacques.
