Andrea Anders (born May 10, 1975) is an American actress. She is famous for her roles in several TV shows and movies. You might know her from sitcoms like Joey, The Class, Better Off Ted, and Mr. Sunshine. She has also appeared in popular shows such as Young Sheldon, Modern Family, Ted Lasso, and That '90s Show.
Andrea also acts in films, often working with her older brother, Sean Anders, who is a director and producer. Some of their movies together include Daddy's Home 2, Instant Family, and Spirited.

Early Life and Education
Andrea Anders was born in Madison, Wisconsin, on May 10, 1975. She grew up in DeForest, Wisconsin, with her sister Torri and brother Sean. She went to DeForest Area High School and finished in 1993.
After high school, Andrea studied acting at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. She earned her bachelor's degree in fine arts in 1997. Later, she moved to New Jersey to study at Rutgers University, where she received her master's degree in fine arts in 2001. She also trained in a special acting method called the Meisner technique.

Starting in Theatre
Andrea Anders began her acting career in theatre in 2001. She was an understudy for Mary-Louise Parker in the Broadway play Proof. An understudy learns a role and can perform it if the main actor cannot. Andrea later played a part in The Graduate on stage. She also performed in several other plays, including Fat Pig at the Geffen Playhouse in 2007.
Television and Film Roles
Andrea's first TV appearances were in commercials and soap operas like One Life to Live and Guiding Light between 1998 and 2001. She also appeared in an episode of Law & Order in 2001. In 2003, she had a recurring role in the drama series Oz, appearing in five episodes.
In 2004, Andrea made her movie debut with a small role in The Stepford Wives. That same year, she got her big break when she was cast in Joey. This show was a spin-off from the very popular TV series Friends. Andrea played Alex Garrett, a friend and neighbor of Joey Tribbiani. The show ran for two seasons.
After Joey, Andrea starred in another sitcom called The Class from 2006 to 2007. She played Nicole, a character who reconnects with her high school boyfriend. Even though the show won an award, it was not renewed for a second season.
From 2009 to 2010, Andrea was a main character in the comedy Better Off Ted. She played Linda Zwordling, who worked at a large company. The show was praised by critics, but it also ended after two seasons. In 2011, she starred in Mr. Sunshine with Friends star Matthew Perry, but this show was also cancelled after a short run.
Andrea has also appeared in many TV show try-outs, called "pilots," that did not get picked up to become full series. Despite this, she continued to get roles in other projects. She had recurring roles in About a Boy and Modern Family, where she played an annoying new neighbor.
In recent years, Andrea has continued to be very active. She appeared in the film Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase in 2019. She also starred in the sitcom Mr. Mom, which ran for 11 episodes. Andrea Anders met actor Matt LeBlanc in 2004 while they were working together on the show Joey. They were a couple for over eight years, from 2006 to 2014.
In late 2016, Andrea shared that she was expecting a child. She has kept details about her child's birth, name, or father private.
On September 15, 2016, Andrea and her older brother Sean were honored and added to their high school's hall of fame at DeForest Area High School.
