Andrea Anders (born May 10, 1975) is an American actress. She is best known for her roles in television comedies, also known as sitcoms. She has starred in shows like Joey, The Class, and Better Off Ted.
You might also recognize her from guest roles on popular shows like Young Sheldon, Modern Family, Ted Lasso, and That '90s Show. She has also appeared in several movies directed by her older brother, Sean Anders, including Daddy's Home 2 and Instant Family.

Early Life and Education
Andrea Anders was born in Madison, Wisconsin, on May 10, 1975. She grew up in the nearby town of DeForest, Wisconsin, with her sister, Torri, and her brother, Sean. In 1993, she graduated from DeForest Area High School.
After high school, Andrea decided to study acting. She went to the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1997. To continue her training, she moved to New Jersey and attended Rutgers University. There, she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2001, which is an advanced degree for artists.
Acting Career
Starting in Theater
In 2001, Andrea began her acting career on stage. She was an understudy (a backup actor) for the main actress in the Broadway show Proof. Later, she starred as Elaine Robinson in a stage version of The Graduate. In 2007, she performed in a play called Fat Pig at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.
Television and Film Roles
Andrea's big break on television came in 2004. She was cast as Alex Garrett in the show Joey. The show was a spin-off of the popular series Friends, focusing on the character Joey Tribbiani. Andrea played Joey's smart and friendly neighbor.
After Joey, she starred in another sitcom called The Class from 2006 to 2007. She played Nicole, a woman who reconnects with her old high school friends.
From 2009 to 2010, Andrea played Linda Zwordling in the comedy Better Off Ted. Her character was a funny and moral person working for a strange and powerful company. Even though critics liked the show, it only lasted for two seasons.
Over the years, Andrea has had recurring roles in many other TV shows. She played the annoying neighbor Amber LaFontaine in Modern Family and Linda, a neighbor of the Cooper family, in Young Sheldon. She also played Michelle, Ted's wife, in the hit series Ted Lasso.
Andrea often works with her brother, director Sean Anders. She has appeared in several of his movies, such as Daddy's Home 2 and Instant Family. She also had roles in other films like The Stepford Wives and Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase.
Personal Life
From 2006 to 2014, Andrea was in a relationship with actor Matt LeBlanc, her co-star from the show Joey. Since 2015, her partner has been playwright Jason Keller. Andrea has a daughter named Audrey.
In 2016, Andrea and her brother Sean were honored for their success. They were added to the hall of fame at their old high school, DeForest Area High School.
