Andreas P. Nielsen (born May 8, 1953 – died June 4, 2011) was a talented Danish author and composer. He wrote music and stories that many people enjoyed.

Andreas P. Nielsen was born in Kolding, Denmark. He was married to Inge-Marie Nielsen, who was also a singer and composer. Together, they led a music group called Dræsinebanden.

About Dræsinebanden

Dræsinebanden was a popular orchestra led by Andreas and Inge-Marie Nielsen. They started the group in 1988. This orchestra performed many concerts all over Denmark. They also sold a lot of records, more than 800,000! This shows how much people loved their music.

Summer Music Festival

Andreas and Inge-Marie Nielsen also organized a special event every summer. They held a music festival at Cafe Dræsinen. This cafe was on the beautiful island of Ærø. The festival featured many famous musicians, especially those well-known in Denmark. It was a fun way for people to enjoy live music.
