Andreea Ioana Esca Eram (born August 29, 1972) is a very well-known Romanian television journalist. Many people see her as one of the most important people in Romanian media. She has worked for Pro TV since December 1995. She also hosts a radio show called "La radio" on Europa FM. She is married to Alexandre Eram and they have two children, Alexia and Aris.
Andreea finished journalism school in 1990. She even studied at CNN! She has been a news presenter at Pro TV for over 27 years, right from when the channel started. In 2002, she won a special award called "Woman of the Year." Since 2006, she has been the editorial director of "The One" magazine. In 2014, she wrote a book about her life.

Starting Her TV Career
Andreea Esca is most famous for her work with Pro TV, a Romanian television network. She started her job at Pro TV on December 1, 1995. She was the first person to announce the start of the channel's programs! Before that, she began her TV career at a channel called SOTI in the early 1990s.
She has almost always presented the news show Știrile ProTV at 7:00 PM. She only took breaks for maternity leave or vacations. Andreea has stayed with the same TV channel for many years.
How She Became a TV Anchor
Andreea started in journalism in January 1992. A friend of hers was going for an interview to become a presenter at SOTI. Andreea went along and did well in the interview herself! She was offered the job of a TV anchor. Even though she trained at CNN for a while, she later came back to Romania.
In September 2018, Andreea received a special award from France. The French ambassador in Romania, Michèle Ramis, gave her the French insignia of a Knight in the National Order of Merit. This award recognized her important work.
