Andrus Kivirähk (born 17 August 1970) is a famous Estonian writer. He writes books, plays, and movie scripts. He is also known for his funny and sharp comments on current events.

Andrus Kivirähk is one of Estonia's most loved writers. His novel Rehepapp ehk November (which means Old Barny or November) sold over 25,000 copies by 2004. This made him the most popular Estonian writer of the 21st century. His book Mees, kes teadis ussisõnu (The Man Who Spoke Snakish) from 2007 has also been a huge bestseller in Estonia. He has been a member of the Estonian Writers' Union since 1996.

Andrus Kivirähk on the Radio

Andrus Kivirähk co-hosts a funny radio show called Rahva Oma Kaitse (People's Own Defense). He does this with Mart Juur on the Raadio 2 channel. This channel is part of Estonia's public broadcaster, ERR.

They even have a special show when the Eurovision Song Contest is on. They air their funny comments alongside the live broadcast.
