Her Early Life and School
Angela Quigless went to Florissant Valley Community College in Florissant, Missouri from 1977 to 1979. She then studied at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology in 1981. Later, she went to Saint Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated with a law degree in 1984.
Her Career as a Judge
Before becoming a judge, Angela Quigless worked in several important legal roles. She was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri. She also worked as an Assistant City Counselor and an Assistant Circuit Attorney for the City of St. Louis.
In March 2003, she became a Circuit Judge in the City of St. Louis. This happened after she had already served for eight years as an associate circuit judge.
She is a member of several legal groups. These include the American Bar Association, the Women Lawyer's Association, and the National Association of Women Judges. She is also part of the Lawyers' Association and the American Judicature Society.
