Angelique Bates (born December 1, 1980) is an American actress, comedian, and rapper. She is best known for her time on the popular Nickelodeon sketch-comedy show All That. She was one of the original cast members.

Starting Out

Angelique Bates was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Her family background includes Haitian and Native American roots.

She started acting when she was very young. Her first job was in a commercial for Borax soap when she was a baby. After that, she appeared in an AT&T commercial. She also had a role in a short movie called Sweet Potato Ride.

Starring on All That

In 1994, Angelique's agent suggested she try out for a new show. This show was called All That. The people making the show really liked her audition. She even did a funny impression of the character Steve Urkel.

After several auditions, Angelique got the part! She became one of the first cast members of All That. The show was a big hit for Nickelodeon.

Angelique Bates was on All That for two seasons. She was the first original cast member to leave the show. However, she later came back for a special episode. This was the 100th episode of All That. She appeared alongside other former cast members like Katrina Johnson and Alisa Reyes.
