Angelo Muscat (born September 24, 1930 – died October 10, 1977) was an actor from Malta. He is most famous for his role as the quiet butler in the 1967 TV series The Prisoner.

Angelo Muscat's Acting Journey
Early Life and First Steps in Acting
Angelo Muscat was born in Malta. His father was a policeman. Angelo was quite short, standing at about 1.3 meters (4 feet 3 inches) tall. This was very different from his parents and three brothers, who were all over 1.8 meters (6 feet) tall!
After his parents passed away, Angelo moved to England. He started his acting career in 1961. He joined a play called Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that toured around the United Kingdom.
Famous TV and Movie Roles
Angelo soon moved into television. He played a Chumbley robot in the Doctor Who episode Galaxy 4 in 1965. He also appeared as a clown in the TV show Emergency – Ward 10. In 1966, he was the Queen's Servant in the BBC show Alice in Wonderland.
His most well-known role was in the TV series The Prisoner (1967-1968). He played the silent butler in 14 out of 17 episodes. Angelo also appeared in the Beatles' film Magical Mystery Tour in 1967. Later, in 1971, he played an Oompa-Loompa in the movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
Later Years
Finding acting jobs became difficult for Angelo in his later years. He lived by himself in London. To earn money, he made beautiful birdcages by hand.
