History of Angus
Angus was founded in 1883 by a person named J. W. Angus. This happened when a railroad line was built and reached that spot. Railroads were very important back then for travel and moving goods.
A post office was also opened in Angus in 1883. This allowed people living there to send and receive mail. However, the post office stayed open for only a short time, closing its doors in 1902.
