Ani Fuk Chong Hoang (born August 1, 1991) is a singer and rapper from Bulgaria. Her family has roots in Vietnam. She is known for her pop, R&B, and hip-hop music.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Ani Hoang was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, on August 1, 1991. Her father came from Vietnam. She has an older brother and sister. Ani studied piano for five years at the Lubomir Pipkov School of Music in Sofia.

In late 2009, Ani signed a contract with Nikolay Parvanov – Chita. She began working with Real Enterprises. Her first song, Кой си ти (Who You Are), was released on March 14, 2010.

Joining Payner and First Hits

After some changes, Ani Hoang signed with Payner in April 2011. On April 8, 2011, her music video for Не вярвам (Do not Believe) was released. This video had an Asian theme, featuring ninjas and a dragon.

Her second song with Payner, Лекарство за мъж (Medication for a Man), came out on June 18, 2011. This song became very popular. It reached number 10 on the Signal music portal's top 50 chart.

Ani Hoang's next song, И се будя пак (And I Wake Again), appeared on Planeta TV in autumn 2011. On December 17, the video for Неподготвен (Unprepared) was released. For Planeta's Christmas show, Ani recorded the ballad Тази нощ (Tonight). Soon after, she released another song called Луда обич (Crazy Love).

Awards and Debut Album

In March 2012, Ani Hoang won the "Debut of the Year" award. This was part of the annual awards from Planeta TV and New Folk.

She then released more songs. These included Да си правим щастие (Let's Make Happiness), a duet with Alex Linares. Other songs were Ако от теб си тръгна (If You're Going Out) and Загасете светлините (Shut Out the Lights). The last one became her biggest hit at that time.

On January 4, 2013, Ani released her first album. It was called Лекарство за мъж (A medicine for a man), named after her hit song. The album had 12 tracks. It included 9 songs already known, a duet with DJ Ned, and different versions of her songs.

Later Releases

Ani Hoang released her song Виетнамчето (Vietnamese) in early 2013. It featured vocals from Ilian. On June 7, her project Скрий му очите (Hide His Eyes) was released.

In early 2014, her song Да го правим (Let's Do It) came out. In June, Ani Hoang released the video for Официална бивша (Officially Former). The music for this song was by Avi Benedy.

On June 21, she, Galin, and Kristiana released Между нас (Between Us). This pop-folk song's video featured Bulgarian actress Latinka Petrova. On December 13, the song Боли да ме обичаш (You Love Me Loves) was released with a video. It featured Azis and was composed by Ani's partner. At the end of 2014, Ani Hoang introduced Благодаря ти (Thank you) at the Planet TV fest. The video for it came out in early March 2015.

On April 23, 2015, the video for Имам новина (I have a news) was released. The video showed impressive dancing and effects. Ballet Fame performed the choreography. On September 23, she released her video for Като нощ и ден (Like Night and Day). Later that year, she presented Няма да те бавя (I Will not Hold You).

On February 29, 2016, she released Стой далеч от мен (Stay away from me) with its video. On June 20, На сантиметри (Inches) came out with a video. In early September, the song Пак съм твоя (I'm yours again) was released with a video.

In early 2017, Ani released an R'n'B remix of Луда Обич. It featured rapper Dgs Onemiconemc. In May 2017, the music video for the hip-hop song К'во ме гледаш (You look at me) was released.

Personal Life

Ani Hoang has been engaged to director and singer Ludmil Ilarionov since 2012.
