Ani Fuk Chong Hoang (born August 1, 1991) is a singer and rapper from Bulgaria. Her family is originally from Vietnam. She is known for her pop, R&B, and hip hop music.

Early Life and Music Studies

Ani Hoang was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, on August 1, 1991. Her father comes from Vietnam. She has an older brother and sister. Ani studied piano for five years at the Lubomir Pipkov School of Music in Sofia.

Starting Her Music Career

In late 2009, Ani signed a contract with Nikolay Parvanov – Chita. She began working with Real Enterprises. Her first song, "Кой си ти" (Who You Are), came out on March 14, 2010. However, things did not go well for her. She had disagreements with the company owner.

After some public issues, Ani Hoang signed with Payner in April 2011. On April 8, 2011, her music video for "Не вярвам" (Do Not Believe) was released. This video had an Asian theme, with ninjas and a dragon. Even with a big budget, the song was not very popular.

First Hits and Album

Her second song with Payner was "Лекарство за мъж" (Medication for a Man). It came out on June 18, 2011. This song became quite successful. It reached number 10 on the Signal music portal's top 50 chart.

Ani Hoang's next song was "И се будя пак" (And I Wake Again). It appeared on Planeta TV in autumn 2011. On December 17, the video for "Неподготвен" (Unprepared) was released. For Planeta's Christmas show, Ani filmed the ballad "Тази нощ" (Tonight). Soon after, she also released a new song called "Луда обич" (Crazy Love). In March 2012, Ani Hoang won the "Debut of the Year" award from Planeta TV.

Later, she released "Да си правим щастие" (Let's Make Happiness) with Alex Linares. She also released "Ако от теб си тръгна" (If You're Going Out) and "Загасете светлините" (Shut Out the Lights). The last song became her biggest hit at that time.

On January 4, 2013, her first album, Лекарство за мъж (A Medicine for a Man), was released. It had 12 songs. These included 9 songs fans already knew, a duet with DJ Ned called "Онези малки неща" (Those Little Things), and different versions of her songs.

Recent Songs

In early 2014, Ani released "Да го правим" (Let's Do It). Her new video for "Официална бивша" (Officially Former) came out in June. The music for this song was by Avi Benedi. On June 21, she, Galin, and Kristiana released "Между нас" (Between Us). This pop-folk song's video featured Bulgarian actress Latinka Petrova.

On December 13, the song "Боли да ме обичаш" (You Love Me Loves) was released. It featured Azis and was composed by Ani's own team. At the end of 2014, Ani Hoang introduced "Благодаря ти" (Thank You) at the Planeta TV fest. The video for it came out in early March 2015.

On April 23, 2015, her video for "Имам новина" (I Have a News) was released. The video showed off her dancing and cool effects. On September 23, she released "Като нощ и ден" (Like Night and Day). Later that year, she presented "Няма да те бавя" (I Will Not Hold You).

In 2016, she released "Стой далеч от мен" (Stay Away From Me) on February 29. On June 20, "На сантиметри" (Inches) came out with a video. In early September, "Пак съм твоя" (I'm Yours Again) was released with a video. In 2017, Ani released an R'n'B remix of "Луда Обич" with rapper Dgs Onemiconemc. In May 2017, the hip-hop song "К'во ме гледаш" (You Look At Me) also got a music video.

Personal Life

Ani Hoang has been engaged to director and singer Ludmil Ilarionov since 2012.
