Ann Williams is an English historian who was born in 1937. She is an expert in the Middle Ages, which is a period of history from about 500 AD to 1500 AD. She has spent her career studying and writing about this fascinating time.
Before she retired, Ann Williams was a Senior Lecturer in Medieval History at the Polytechnic of North London. This means she taught university students about history from the Middle Ages.
